Notes
The Apple Watch Series 11 cost $399 and was sold on what it could tell you rather than on how it looked. The case came in 42mm and 46mm as before, in aluminium in jet black, rose gold, silver and a new space grey, or in polished titanium in natural, gold and slate.
The headline feature was hypertension notifications, which watch for signs of chronic high blood pressure and alert the wearer if they appear. It was not ready on day one. Apple said clearance from the FDA and other regulators was still expected and that the feature would reach more than 150 countries and regions that month. Sleep Score arrived at the same time, scoring the quality of a night’s sleep rather than just counting the hours.
Battery life went to 24 hours, with fifteen minutes on the charger worth up to eight hours of use, or 38 hours in Low Power Mode. The Apple Watch Series 11 also gained 5G, and the cover glass on the aluminium models was twice as scratch resistant as before. Titanium models kept the sapphire front crystal they have always had.
Inside was the S10 chip with 64GB of storage. The display was an always-on OLED reaching 2000 nits, and the watch was rated to 50 metres for swimming, though not for diving or water sports.
It was announced on 9 September 2025 at the ‘Awe Dropping’ event, went up for pre-order the same day and reached shops on 19 September, priced from $399.
